My leadership reflection for the week is about bravery.
Bravery is hard.
Conflict is hard.
Overcoming obstacles is...hard.
Here are a few truths I tell myself in situations that require me to be brave.
1. I remind myself that people don't have power over me.
2. Someone can only steal my joy if I choose to give it to them.
3. There is always a personal story behind other people's hurt.
4. Moments that require bravery are opportunities in disguise.
At its core, bravery is the willingness to step in and try to "move the needle" in other people's lives.
It's choosing to believe in people despite what version of themselves they bring you that day.
It's hope when others have none.
